The weaver behind Galson Harris Tweed is Alistair Macleod Russell. Alistair works from his croft in Galson, situated on the Westside of Lewis within earshot of the Atlantic ocean in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland.
Alistair uses the traditional shuttle loom, producing a finished cloth that is 75cm in width. The shuttle woven cloth is available in any length, from 4 metres upwards.
The design of the cloth can be yours or one of the many traditional designs available.
The cloth is produced from pure Scottish virgin wool, processed completely in the Outer Hebrides, and will be trade-mark stamped with the famous and world renowned "ORB MARK"
